I recently had the honour to assist at the wedding of Heather & Dave at Thornton Manor.  The day started well with the discovery that 3 of the brides maid dresses had been left behind!  All was not lost, I persuaded the Registrar to start the ceremony late and the dresses arrived in time.  What a day we then had, the food was great by Anne Wilson and the speeches were brilliant.

I had the pleasure of working with Sandra and Steve from SMH Photography and they have kindly given me permission to use some of the shots.

Heather & Dave very kindly sent me the following words –

“We got married at Thornton Manor on 28 March 2015 and Chris was our toastmaster.

Chris was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We met Chris twice before the wedding (once at our house and once at the venue). We really felt like Chris took the time to get to know us both before the wedding; he made sure he knew all the little details which he would need to take care of on the day which were important to us. He also suggested things that neither of us would have ever thought of!

We have had so many comments from our guests about how fantastic Chris was and how smoothly the day ran. Chris made sure the guests knew what was going on at all times and this really contributed to the relaxed atmosphere at our wedding (especially when there was a ‘slight’ delay to the proceedings when we realised we had forgotten our bridesmaids dresses an hour before the ceremony!) We also really appreciated the little touches like Chris walking the bride’s mother to her seat before the ceremony and Chris letting us use his sword to cut our wedding cake!!

We cannot recommend Chris highly enough and would encourage anyone getting married to use Chris as their toastmaster!!”

Thank guys, the pleasure was all mine and I so enjoyed the company of your family and friends on the day.  Wishing you both a long and happy life together.
