Our Annual Dinner is the highlight of the Club year and an event we need to run smoothly. Chris has been our Toastmaster for a number of years now and I can say he is absolutely brilliant at it. He not only ensures the correct formalities are followed but also that everything runs perfectly. As President, it was great to just worry about my speech and not everything else going on that night!
We got married at Thornton Manor and Chris was our Toastmaster.
Chris was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We met Chris twice before the wedding (once at our house and once at the venue). We really felt like Chris took the time to get to know us both before the wedding; he made sure he knew all the little details which he would need to take care of on the day which were important to us. He also suggested things that neither of us would have ever thought of!
We have had so many comments from our guests about how fantastic Chris was and how smoothly the day ran. Lots of our guests have commented on how nice it was that they knew exactly what was going on at all times and it was such a ‘laid back’ wedding which I think is a testament to you! Chris made sure the guests knew what was going on at all times and this really contributed to the relaxed atmosphere at our wedding (especially when there was a ‘slight’ delay to the proceedings when we realised we had forgotten our bridesmaids dresses an hour before the ceremony!) We also really appreciated the little touches like Chris walking the bride’s mother to her seat before the ceremony and Chris letting us use his sword to cut our wedding cake!!
We cannot recommend Chris highly enough and would encourage anyone getting married to use Chris as their toastmaster!!
The day of the wedding ran so smoothly and that is largely down to Chris doing such an amazing job of directing our guests, suppliers and us! All of the guests commented on what a lovely touch it was having a Toastmaster that really interacted with everyone and kept everything on time.
We really couldn’t have asked for anything more and would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for an amazing Toastmaster!
Chris Caroe was our toastmaster at the DHF Gala Dinner at the Carden Park Hotel. We could not have made a better choice. Chris was the ultimate professional, a real hit with everyone and nothing was too much trouble for him. He went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us prepare for our guests’ arrival, was welcoming to all and was an excellent support to the organisers on the night. When I was asked to organise a formal charity ball at St. David’s Hotel in Hawarden, North Wales, there was only one man I wanted to join the team – Chris Caroe. Chris is an utterly professional Toastmaster and, resplendent in his red uniform, he makes an impressive figure. But his role that night was much more than making announcements! His unflappable composure and calm assured manner ensured that the whole evening – a fast mix of charity auction/celebrity acts and dancing, flowed smoothly and without hitch. He not only organised a large, boisterous audience, he also ensured that the celebrity entertainers were given the appropriate support and structure and cleverly controlled the momentum of our ambitious schedule. He helped make the event both enjoyable and very successful. We raised an extraordinary amount of donations to buy a specialist wheelchair for a disabled child…..so “thank you” Chris from both myself and little Gracie!
We recently held our second Annual Dinner for our local investment industry with Chris Caroe as our Toastmaster. We were highly impressed with Chris’s professionalism throughout the evening as well as adding some personal touches at those times that required them.
