I had the honour to assist at the Liverpool Consular Corps Jubilee Dinner in the Rathbones Rooms in the old Mersey Docks & Harbour Board Building on the Liverpool waterfront. Amongst the guest were HM Lord Lieutenant for Merseyside Dame Lorna Muirhead, HM High Sheriff for Merseyside Col Martin Amlot OBE DL, The Right Worshipful the Lord Mayor of Liverpool Councillor Sharon Sullivan and the Chief Constable for Merseyside Jon Murphy QPM. Pickled Walnut Catering provided the excellent food and a huge thanks must go to Rathbones for allowing the dinner to take place in the old board room. A great night was had by one and all and it was an great coming together of many nations in the celebration of HM The Queens Diamond Jubilee.
