I had the honour to be the Toastmaster and Auctioneer at the Help for Heroes Charity Dinner at the Chester Crowne Plaza on Friday 24 August. Hosted by Antony Hyland from the Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment (Mercian Regiment) we raised £545 on the raffle and close to £1050 on the auction with money still coming in. It was great seeing the lads in their uniform and the hotel staff where very flexible with the whole evenings entertainment. A great effort all round.
