I found a gem of a place today for weddings; Trafford Hall, Wimbolds Trafford just east of Chester. Call 01244 300246 and ask for Sarah and tell her you heard about the place from me! The venue is set in its own 14 acre grounds and has 53 bedrooms. It holds a license for civil marriages and partnerships and they have room for a marquee for that extra large wedding! I also saw another venue today, which since its refurbishment has been totally transformed and offers a stunning backdrop to any event. Chester Town Hall, in the heart of the city, can offer a variety of rooms to suit most tastes. The venue is licensed and they have full catering facilities available both upstairs and downstairs.
